Clarity of direction and energy to do the things that you are here to do are diminished when you are experiencing physical pain, mental or emotional stress, the echoes of trauma, or symptoms related to chronic illness. Often, in these circumstances, we sweet humans tend to ignore what is happening in the body or, more heartbreakingly, feel that our bodies are the enemy of living the life we truly wish to live

I know what it’s like to push to exhaustion, to dismiss the symptoms in the body, and to ignore the pain until it just can’t be ignored. If you are anything like me, you would like to focus on the things that are most important to you - your work, your family, enjoyment, creative expression - but your body is making it so damn hard. I know, my friend. I know. 

Whether you are experiencing chronic pain, exhaustion, anxiety, burnout, or endless symptoms, I believe you can live with less pain and more ease on all levels: body, mind, and soul. We are so adaptable and resilient - and you will find that once you have addressed the exhaustion, the symptoms, or the pain, the energy bound up in keeping the symptoms at bay can go toward more of what you really want in your life. 

And I want that for you. I want you to have less pain and more energy for your one wild and precious life, as Mary Oliver would say.

Meet the wisdom of your body in this moment.

The body is a sacred vessel, a metaphor, a map of our lives. When you are experiencing pain, the symptoms of illness, or chronic tension in your body, naturally, you want that resolved - it’s challenging to turn toward what we are experiencing with curiosity and tenderness. It’s tempting to be wooed by the siren song, “Do this one magic thing, and your pain will go away.”  We are told there is an easy way to “fix” our problems. That can be true, but often it is not. The pain returns, and the pattern continues because the root hasn’t been addressed.

In our sessions, you will develop an awareness of the underlying physical, mental, and emotional patterns contributing to your symptoms through somatic movement, breath, coaching, and active imagination that takes you into the landscape of your body. In growing this awareness, you will develop a relationship of power with your body instead of power over it. You will find that you experience less pain and more energy and clarity. You will unravel old patterns and find freedom.

So, what brings people to this body-centered work?

  • Mystery migrating pain symptoms coupled with exhaustion and migraines: One woman struggling with these symptoms found her energy returned, and the pain in her body greatly diminished. Best of all, her near-daily migraines stopped, leaving her with simple garden variety low-level headaches (that are also on the decline).

  • Chronic low back and shoulder pain that limits movement: One woman completed therapeutic yoga and is now pain-free and feels better in her body than she can ever remember. She is excited to know exactly how to listen for (and do) what her body needs to stay energized and healthy so she can do the things she really wants to do as she ages.

  • A persistent shoulder issue that impacts range of motion: This woman could barely lift her arm, but within a short period of time, her shoulder pain decreased, and her shoulder mobility increased, allowing her to run after her granddaughter without worry.

  • Then there is me, who managed transient symptoms for years - symptoms that ultimately led to a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. This body and energy-centric work won’t cure anything. Still, a commitment to listen to my body and act accordingly has minimized symptomatic pain and fatigue while increasing my mobility, strength, and vitality.

  • And so much more. Somatic movement, combined with energy work, coaching, and stillness practices, can support increased well-being and mobility, improve symptoms of autoimmune disorders, soothe chronic injuries (including surgeries), unwind old trauma from the body, and support people who sit and stew with stress all day. All of this leads to more energy for the life you truly want to live.

Movement

Nourishing awareness of how your body moves helps to quiet compensation patterns causing pain. How you explore movement settles the body, unwinds old patterns, and rewires the brain for greater ease of movement: body, mind, and soul. 

Breath & Stillness

As a long-time facilitator of breathwork and yoga nidra, I know firsthand that these practices help heal and regulate the nervous system, reset the body, and give you access to your deepest wisdom. This quality of rest quiets symptoms and invites restoration. 

Coaching & Energy

The patterns that you experience in your body are often the same patterns that show up in how you live. As you tend the body, you will see and unravel outdated ways of being. My background as a master-certified coach and energy healer strengthens your results.

It’s me, Nona

For my entire adult life, I've been learning ancient healing practices and energetic modalities, which have honed my skills in supporting and facilitating healing in myself and others.

And yet, my relationship with my own body has been one of my greatest teachers - I am still learning to listen deeply to the language of my body and to honor what she needs to move through the world with ease and grace. I am honored to share what I know with you.

In addition to being a master-certified coach, I am a 200-hour RYT. I facilitate breath and stillness practices to support my clients. I've mastered various energy healing methods, including Akashic Record Reading and Crystalline energy medicine. I'm also an earth medicine practitioner who utilizes ritual and active imagination to support your healing.

I would love to support healing that leads to your freedom, body, mind, and soul.

I want these sessions to be infinitely accessible to you financially. It’s that important.

Here’s what to expect

  • 3 bespoke, 60-minute somatic healing sessions each month. Based on your intentions and desires, each session is tailored to be precisely what you need to rewire your body, mind, and soul for more grace and authenticity in the day-to-day. Every session will includes somatic movement, breath, and co-creative exploratory conversations. I recommend 3-months, or 9 sessions to begin.

  • Support in between sessions. Choose your favorite platform from Voxer to MarcoPolo to email, I am available to answer questions, witness insights, and celebrate wins on your journey to embody a new story of you.

  • Recordings of key practices and OMwork to support you with consistency. This work is about empowering you to to heal, grow, and thrive. OMwork will support you in practice between our sessions.
