Frequently Asked
What is coaching?
A great definition comes from the International Coach Federation (ICF):
“Coaches are trained to listen, to observe, and to customize their approach to individual client needs. They seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client; they believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. The coach’s job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.”
I consider coaching to be a collaborative relationship that helps you live life on your terms: with more success, more ease, and more happiness. Coaching centers on empowering you to find, and take action on, your own answers. I use the tools of Martha Beck and draw on my background in business as a corporate accountant, as well as my experience as a yoga and meditation instructor to help you effect positive change, which is the key to creating the life and business you desire.
Where do we meet?
Virtually. Almost all of the coaching I do is via phone and Skype. I am also able to meet with you in person if you happen to be in Rome.
What are the benefits of coaching?
Some of the benefits of entering into a coaching relationship with me are:
- Access a clear, calm mind through mindful practices
- Improve your effectiveness at work and at home
- Develop a sense of peace and ease with your priorities
- Evaluate your actions to make sure that you are spending your time and energy where it matters most
- Create lasting change in your personal and professional life
- Let go of self-defeating beliefs and behaviors
- Get the job done – whatever that means for you.
“Nona, you are simply wonderful! Thank you for sharing your experience, compassion, and innate understanding to give me some much needed guidance. You are truly a gift.”
