Launching a business

December 18, 2009

Rocket TurtleThere is no doubt that one of the most challenging parts of deciding to go into business for yourself is structuring the business itself.  Setting up a website, e-commerce, scheduling, communications, social media, form creation, autoresponders, accounting, mama mia!

It’s a lot to think about and DO on top of what you REALLY want to be focusing your energy on – which is serving your people!

“Take it one step at a time” is what everyone says.  Just figure out the next step and do it.  Make it a small, do-able action.  Absolutely.  But what if you don’t know what the next step is?  What if you are simply a procrastinator and cannot seem to get motivated to get the job done?  What if you are a talented coach, but happen to be business-phobic?

One of my superpowers is setting up business structures, which is why, in addition to coaching awesome women, I also focus on  mentoring coaches who need help getting their business up and running.  I am really lucky to have a knack for it, and I enjoy it.  So does my fellow Martha Beck coach and partner in crime, Jennifer Voss.  Now, personally, I believe that excellent coaches can change the world more rapidly than nearly anything.  In an attempt to see my goal of  coaches for everyone become a reality, I’ve partnered with Jennifer to offer a 4-month mastermind program for coaches who are ready to launch their business.

If you are a coach and you are interested in learning more, you can check out the Business Launchpad.  If you are a budding solopreneur and would like to know more about our programs, YAY!

Have a lovely holiday.  I’ll be back soon.
